City of Oak Creek

Common Council Report

Meeting Date:           July 1, 2003

Item No.:

             15

Recommendation:  That the Council adopt Resolution No. 10255-070103, approving the certified survey map for the properties at 975, 1001 and 1035 E. Randy Road.

Background:  Mark & Kim Pientka, Michael & Laura Szczepanski and the Georgetown Commons Addition #1 Owners Association are requesting approval of a certified survey map that would redivide the properties at 975, 1001 and 1035 E. Randy Road.

The current three properties would be combined into two.  The property at 1001 E. Randy Road is currently owned by the homeowners association for the subdivision.  This parcel contains drainage facilities for this phase of the subdivision.  The proposal is to split this property between the abutting property owners, while still preserving a public easement for the drainage facilities that exist.

Each of the redivided parcels exceeds the minimum criteria for the Rs-3 zoning district.

The Plan Commission has reviewed this certified survey map and has recommended its approval.

Fiscal Impact:  None.  These properties are currently developed.  A maintenance agreement will be entered into between the City and the two property owners to cover maintenance responsibilities for this easement area.
