Recommendation:  That the Common Council consider rejecting the bid for the project to construct the entrance sign for the Creekside Corporate Park along S. 13^th Street.  The lowest responsive, responsible bidder was Sign Factory, and their bid was in the amount of $23,950.00 (Project No. 00045) (1st Aldermanic District).

Background:  A designer working for the developer prepared plans and specifications for the project, the Engineering Division put them in biddable form, the work was advertised, and the following bid was received.

It is our recommendation that this bid be rejected since only one bid was received.  The sign project will be advertised again for bids along with the Oak Creek Commerce and Industrial Park sign project. 

Fiscal Impact:  Payment for this project will come from funds reserved in TIF District 4.  The project has $35,000 anticipated for the sign construction.
