NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

BEFORE THE OAK CREEK COMMON COUNCIL

PURPOSE:     The purpose of this public hearing is to consider a proposal by Steven and Debra Wiedenfeld to rezone the properties at 6616 and 6622 S. 27th Street from Rs-4, Single Family Residential and B-4, Highway Business to B-1, Local Business.

Legal Description:  All that part of the NW 1/4 of Section 6, T5N, R22E, City of Oak Creek, Milwaukee County, Wisconsin bounded and described as follows:  Commencing at the southwest corner of said NW 1/4; thence N 00º 16’ 38” E, 379.83 feet; thence N 88º 41’ 08” E, 79.91 feet to the point of beginning of the lands to be described; thence  N 88º 42’ 09” E, 300 feet; thence N 00º 16’ 43” E, 86 feet; thence S 88º 42’ 09”W, 300 feet; thence S 00º 16’ 43” W, 86 feet to the point of beginning.

The Common Council has scheduled other public hearings for May 6, 2003 at 6:00 PM.  This hearing may begin at 6:00 PM or as soon as possible following the conclusion of other public hearings.
