Recommendation: That the Common Council approve the recommendation of the Street Superintendent to replace the vehicle hoist in the Street Department from Wilkinson-Capstran, Incorporated in the amount of $9,200.00.
Background: The Street Division requested quotes from two (2) vehicle hoist vendors and Wilkinson-Capstran, Incorporated is the low, recommended vendor. This hoist was originally installed in 1962 when the building was built and has been repaired several times. It has been determined that it is leaking oil and can no longer be repaired. Wilkinson Capstran, Incorporated has serviced the City of Oak Creek for 30 years. Most recently, they installed a vehicle hoist at the new Police Department.

Fiscal Impact: With the Street Division being three (3) full time positions short, there are sufficient funds in the Streets budget for this purchase.
