Recommendation: That the Common Council adopt Ordinance #2240, An Ordinance to Amend Section 3.40 of the Oak Creek Municipal Code Relating to Health Department Fees.

 

Background:  There have been no increases in immunization clinic fees as the administration cost has remained at $8.00 per vaccine for the past several years.  The Health Department does charge the administration fee and the cost of the vaccine for each of the vaccines purchased by the City.  The costs of the influenza and pneumonia vaccines have increased this year.  Influenza vaccine will be between $8.50 and $11.37 per dose and the pneumonia vaccine averages $21.00 per dose.  The fee increase will be to “cover” costs.

 

Fiscal Impact:  An increase of $5.00 per dose of flu vaccine and $7.00 per dose of pneumonia vaccine.
