Recommendation:  To concur with the recommendation of the Traffic and Safety Commission and authorize the installation of centerline markings along E. Elm Road from S. Howell Avenue to S. Nicholson Road and along S. Shepard Avenue from E. Oakwood Avenue to E. Randy Road.

Background:  The request was discussed at the Traffic and Safety Commission meeting on November 12, 2003.  In order to control the speed of traffic due to the width of E. Elm Road and S. Shepard Avenue, the Traffic and Safety Commission passed a motion to make this recommendation to the Common Council.

Fiscal Impact:  There are sufficient funds available in the Street Division operating budget to accommodate this recommendation.
