                             RESOLUTION DESIGNATING OFFICIAL HOLIDAYS FOR 2004

RESOLVED that the following days are hereby declared to be the official holidays for all employees of the City of Oak Creek during the year of 2004, exclusive of the Police and Fire Departments, to wit:

1.         New Years Day (Thursday, January 1)

2.         Friday before Easter (Friday, April 9)

3.         Memorial Day (Monday, May 31)

4.         Independence Day (Monday, July 5)

5.         Labor Day (Monday, September 6)

6.         Thanksgiving Day (Thursday, November 25)

7.         The day after Thanksgiving (Friday, November 26)

8.         Christmas Eve Day (Friday, December 24) (the last normal workday before Christmas)

9.         Christmas Day (Thursday, December 23) (the workday preceding the last normal workday before Christmas)

10.       New Years Eve Day (Friday, December 31) (the last normal workday before New Years Day)

NOTE:  New Years Day (Thursday, December 30) (the workday preceding the last normal workday before New Years Day) will be designated as the first holiday date for the year 2005 official holidays.

Introduced at a regular meeting of the Common Council of the City of Oak Creek held this 21^st day of October, 2003.

Passed and adopted this 21^st day of October, 2003.
