Recommendation:  To concur with the recommendation of the Traffic and Safety Commission and authorize the installation of a stop sign on E. Elm Road at the intersection of S. Shepard Avenue.

Background:  The request was discussed at the Traffic and Safety Commission meeting on October 8, 2003.  In order to control traffic at the intersection due to the newly constructed E. Elm Road, the Traffic and Safety Commission passed a motion to make this recommendation to the Common Council.

Fiscal Impact:  There are sufficient funds available in the Street Division operating budget to accommodate this recommendation.
