Common Council Report

Meeting Date: March 4, 2003

Recommendation: To concur with the recommendation of the Traffic and Safety Commission and authorize the installation of stop signs in front of the Library.

Background: The request was discussed at the Traffic and Commission meeting on February 12, 2003. Due to the increased use of the parking lot at the Community Center and the increased pedestrian traffic, the Traffic and Safety Commission passed a motion to make this recommendation to the Common Council with Tom Rosandich in opposition.

Fiscal Impact: There are sufficient funds available in the Street Division operating budget to accommodate this recommendation.
