Recommendation: That the Common Council approve the recommendation of the Street Superintendent to purchase one (1) Chevrolet Silverado 4x4 Pick up truck from Holz Motors in the amount of $15,254.00.
Background: The Street Department sent out bids to eight (8) truck dealers and received three (3) bids. Holz Motors was the lowest qualified bidder and is the recommended vendor. This truck will replace a 1992 Chevrolet Caprice, I.D. #: 1G1BL5371NR143251, with 125,000 miles and is included as a trade in.
