Recommendation: That the Common Council approve Resolution No. 10215-030403 to authorize final payment of $15,052.00 to Dorshak Family Tree Service, Inc., for street tree pruning under Project No. 02002.

 

Background: Project No. 02002 included contract tree pruning services in the 2002 Urban Forestry CIP. Council approved this Project at their November 4, 2002, meeting.

 

Dorshak Family Tree Service, Inc.:

Original contract amount: $14,842.00

Revised contract amount: $ 182.00

Amount this invoice: $15,052.00

 

This is the first and final payment to Dorshak Family Tree Service, Inc. for street tree pruning November 2002, through February, 2003.

 

Streets Pruned include:

E. Spruce Court, E. Norwood Court, E. Birch Drive, E. Oak Street (honeylocust only), E. Chestnut Drive, 7900 block of S. 13th (east side), S. Wake Forest Drive, S. & W. Wayland (honeylocusts only).

 

Fiscal Impact: Funding for this project was allocated in the 2002 Street Tree Planting/Removal CIP budget.
