CITY OF OAK CREEK

REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS
FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES IN THE
DESIGN OF LOCAL ROADS

Notice is hereby given that the City of Oak Creek is seeking Request for Qualifications for professional services in the design of local roads.

The qualifications will be accepted in the Engineering Office, City of Oak Creek City Hall, 8640 S. Howell Ave., Oak Creek, WI 53154, until Friday, January 6, 2006 at Noon.  All qualifications must be submitted in a sealed envelope with “DESIGN CONSULTANT” marked in the lower left-hand corner and attention to Brian Johnston.  The proposed work could be for the design of the following road segments over the next 3 years:

·       Local Roads - W. Drexel Avenue from S. 27th Street to S. 13th Street, W. Puetz Road from S. 27th Street to S. Liberty Lane, E. Puetz Road from S. Shepard Avenue to S. Pennsylvania Avenue, S. Pennsylvania Avenue from E. Rawson Avenue to E. College Avenue

·       Industrial Roads - S. 10th Street from W. Rawson Avenue to North End, W. Marquette Road from S. 6th Street to S. Howell Avenue, and S. 1st Street from W. Marquette Road to W. Rawson Avenue.

·       Signalizing the intersection of S. Shepard Avenue and E. Puetz Road

·       Wisconsin DNR submittals for the filling of wetlands for the road expansion

All qualifications shall include recent local office project references that were designed by current staff and your company was the primary design consultant.  Also include resumes of key individuals included in the design process and would be assigned to the Oak Creek work.  Please limit the proposal to 15 pages.

Each bidder will be responsible for the delivery of their proposal to the proper office on time.  The City will not be responsible for proposals that are mismarked, delayed in the mail, or delivered to the wrong office.
