Contract
Specifications for the 2006 Road Improvement Projects
Each bidder is hereby instructed to
amend the Contract Specifications as follows:
1. Under
Subsection VI.A. MATERIALS FOR ASPHALTIC CONCRETE PAVEMENT of the Detail
Specifications (page D-9) of the bid documents, the following two sentences
shall be in force for the asphalt bid items:
The lower
course shall have a nominal aggregate size of 19.0 mm and asphaltic cement with
a performance graded designation of PG 58-28.
The upper
course(s) shall have a nominal aggregate size of 12.5 mm and asphaltic cement
with a performance graded designation of PG 64-22.
Each bidder shall acknowledge receipt of this addendum on Page P-1 of the Bid Proposal. Failure to do so may result in bid disqualification.
