Old Business
- Resolution: Consider resolution No. 10650-070506, a resolution vacating and discontinuing parts of a public alley in the City of Oak Creek (alley behind Dexter Ave., American Ave. and 5th Ave.) (held 7/5/06) (4th District)
- Motion: Consider a motion to accept the recommendation of the Personnel Committee and adopt Ordinance No. 2420, establishing the salary for the Community Public Health Officer and appointing Judith Price to the position effective 8/28/06, with terms of employment as listed on the attached Council report (by Committee of the Whole).
Action Presentations
Mayor and Council
- Discussion: Discussion with Senator Jeff Plale and Representatives Mark Honadel and Jeff Stone of issues relating to creation of a local airport district; recent impact fee legislation; and other matters of interest to the City.
- Motion: Consider a motion to authorize extension of the Articles of Agreement with Tyler Technologies, Cole-Layer-Trumble (CLT) Division, to provide assessment services for 2007-09, for a fixed fee cost of $85,000.00 per year (by Committee of the Whole).
- Motion: Consider a motion to authorize execution of the Articles of Agreement with Tyler Technologies, Cole-Layer-Trumble (CLT) Division, to provide for revaluation services for the 2007 assessment year for a fixed fee cost of $125,000.00, with funding to be taken from the 2000 CIP Control Account (By Committee of the Whole).
- Ordinance: Consider ordinance No. 2422, an ordinance confirming adoption of the settlement agreement between the City of Oak Creek and the Oak Creek Professional Police Officers’ Association, and fixing the salary for members of the bargaining unit of the Oak Creek Police Department from January 1, 2006 through December 31, 2008 (by Committee of the Whole).
- Motion: Consider a motion to concur with the Mayor’s reappointment of the following to the Plan Commission for three-year terms expiring 4/09:
- Patrick Correll
- Terry Ann Peterson
- Jeffrey Sokol
- Motion: Consider a motion to authorize the City Clerk to issue a Notice of Disallowance on the claim of Mary Wiltzius, 7778 S. Lenox Ave. (by Committee of the Whole).
- Motion: Consider a motion to approve the Vendor Summary Report in the amount of $207,592.36 (by Committee of the Whole).
License Committee
- Motion: Consider a motion to take action on the various license requests as listed on the attached report (available after the License Committee meeting scheduled for 8/11/06) (by Committee of the Whole).
Treasurer
- Motion: Consider a motion to authorize execution of a continuation of the agreement with Tri City National Bank to provide banking services for two (2) additional years (by Committee of the Whole).
Police
- Ordinance: Consider ordinance No. 2421, repealing and recreating Section 5.80 of the Municipal Code regarding lost, abandoned and unclaimed property (by Committee of the Whole).
Community Development
- Resolution: Consider resolution No. 10660-081506, conditionally approving the preliminary plat for Edgemont Estates subdivision (5th District).
Miscellaneous
- Motion: Consider a motion to convene into Executive Session immediately following the conclusion of the Common Council meeting, pursuant to Wisconsin State Statutes, Section 19.85(1)(g) to discuss strategy with respect to the pending lawsuit brought by Oak Creek Citizen’s Action Committee.
- Motion: Consider a motion to reconvene into Open Session.
- Motion: Consider a motion to take action, if required.
