  11. Motion:  Consider a motion to concur with the Mayor’s reappointment of Brent and Rosemary Conley as Weed Commissioners for a one-year term expiring 4/07 (by Committee of the Whole).
  12. Motion:  Consider a motion to concur with the Mayor’s appointment of Janice Wilinski, 7240 S. Howell Ave., to the Board of Review as Alternate No. 2, to complete a term expiring 5/2010 (by Committee of the Whole).
  13. Motion:  Consider a motion to express the City’s concerns to the Oak Creek state legislators about recent legislative actions regarding impact fees; and authorize the City Administrator to provide prompt communication to legislators on behalf of the City when pending legislation could be detrimental to the City (by Committee of the Whole).
  14. Motion:  Consider a motion to authorize staff to take steps to amend the boundaries for Tax Increment Financing (TIF) District No. 4 to include the property at 7466 S. Howell Ave. (1st District).
  15. Motion:  Consider a motion to direct staff to prepare a response to the City of Franklin declining the request to participate in the intersection improvements to S. 27th St. and W. Oakwood Rd. relative to the development of the Wheaton Franciscan Health Care Center (6th District).
  16. Ordinance:  Consider ordinance No. 2412, creating Section 10.66 of the Municipal Code regulating inoperable and unregistered vehicles (by Committee of the Whole).
  17. Ordinance:  Consider ordinance No. 2408, relating to the position of Community Public Health Officer (by Committee of the Whole).
  18. Resolution:  Consider resolution No. 10643-060606, authorizing the City Clerk to enter agreements with the State Elections Board relating to use of the Statewide Voter Registration System (SVRS) (by Committee of the Whole).
  19. Motion:  Consider a motion to authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to enter into a cell phone contract with Sprint Nextel, Inc., to provide cellular phones and service for City staff and terminate the cell phone contract with US Cellular (by Committee of the Whole).
  20. Motion:  Consider a motion to authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to enter into a lease agreement with United States Cellular Operating Company LLC, doing business as US Cellular, for the construction of a 150-foot cell tower at 301 W. Ryan Rd. (police station), and the placement of communication antennas on said monopole (by Committee of the Whole).
  21. Motion: Consider a motion to approve the Vendor Summary Report in the amount of $746,070.07 (by Committee of the Whole).

    License Committee

  22. Motion: Consider a motion to take action on the various license requests as listed on the attached report (by Committee of the Whole).

    Engineering

  23. Motion:  Consider a motion to authorize payment of the contract progress payments for various projects as listed on the attached summary report (2nd, 5th and 6th Districts).
  24. Motion:  Consider a motion to concur with the recommendation of the Traffic & Safety Commission and authorize the permanent placement of stop signs on S. Shepard Ave. at the intersection with E. Bridlewood Ln. (5th District).
  25. Motion:  Consider a motion to concur with the Traffic & Safety Commission to:
    1. Adopt Ordinance No. 2413, repealing Ordinance No. 387, an ordinance prohibiting parking on either side of certain streets in the Northbranch Industrial Park (adopted 9/2/69); and
    2. Authorize the installation of “No Parking” from 1 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays from 7616 to 7815 S. 6th St. along both sides of the road to accommodate Oak Creek Little League overflow parking (1st District).
  26. Resolution:  Consider resolution No. 10642-060606, approving a storm water management practices maintenance agreement with Foran Spice Company, Inc., for their proposed addition at 7616 S. 6th St. (1st District).
  27. Resolution:  Consider resolution No. 10641-060606, approving a storm water management practices maintenance agreement with Anthony Sanfelippo for the proposed Kender Lane certified survey map (4th District).

    Miscellaneous

  28. Motion:  Consider a motion to convene into Executive Session immediately following the conclusion of the Common Council meeting pursuant to Wisconsin State Statutes, to discuss the following:
    1. Section 19.85(1)(g) to discuss a proposed settlement with Gonis Real Estate Ltd. Partnership for parcels located at 27th St. and Rawson Ave. regarding the lawsuits pending in Milwaukee County Circuit Court relating to claims for excessive assessments for the 2004 assessment.
  29. Motion:  Consider a motion to reconvene into Open Session.
  30. Motion:  Consider a motion to take action, if required.
