Mayor and Council

  1. Motion: Consider a motion to approve the Vendor Summary Report in the amount of $379,050.55 (by Committee of the Whole).
  2. Discussion:  A discussion with staff representatives on their requests for reconsideration of 2005 salary freezes for their respective positions, per the Personnel Committee.
  3. Motion: Consider a motion to concur with the recommendations of the Personnel Committee to revise the structure of management in the Inspection Department by creating the position of Inspection Supervisor, and direct that a job description and appropriate ordinances be drafted (by Committee of the Whole).

    4. License Committee

  4. Motion: Consider a motion to take action on the various license requests as listed on the attached report (by Committee of the Whole).

    5. Fire

  5. Motion: Consider a motion to approve the purchase of a Pierce Quantum fire engine in the amount of $390,000, and a MedTec ambulance in the amount of $121,815, as a combination purchase from Pierce Manufacturing.

    6. Community Development

  6. Resolution:  Consider resolution No. 10529-070505, approving the Micjensar Development certified survey map (CSM) at 10020 and 10050 S. Shepard Avenue (Tax Keys No. 922-9063 and 902-9001) (5th Aldermanic District).
  7. Motion: Consider a motion to approve the modifications to the sidewalk development plan for the Carrollville Crossing subdivision as identified in Alternate 3.  (4th Aldermanic District).

    8. Engineering

  8. Resolution:  Consider resolution No. 10527-070505, a resolution accepting a quit claim deed for acquisition of public right-of-way across 8921 S. 5th Avenue (Tax Key No. 865-9973) (4th Aldermanic District).
  9. Resolution:  Consider resolution No. 10528-070505, a resolution accepting the workmanship of and authorizing final payment to C.W. Purpero, Inc., for Project No. 00037—Construction of a detention basin in the Shepard Hills Subdivision area (5th Aldermanic District).

    10. Parks, Recreation and Forestry

  10. Motion: Consider a motion to:
    1. award the Camelot Park Development (Project 00033, 1st Aldermanic District), the Chapel Drive Cul-de-sac improvements (Project 03001, 1st Aldermanic District), and South Hills Park Facilities (Project 05001, 6th Aldermanic District) unit price contract to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder, Payne & Dolan, Inc.;  and
    2. to authorize the use of the $75,975 received from the sale of the properties at 2230 and 2300 Southland Drive towards the proposed park facilities in South Hills Park.

    11. Miscellaneous

  11. Motion:  Consider a motion to convene into Executive Session immediately following the conclusion of the Common Council meeting pursuant to Wisconsin State Statutes, to discuss the following:
    1. Section 19.85(1)(e)(g) to discuss negotiations and potential litigation regarding the power plant expansion.
  12. Motion:  Consider a motion to reconvene into Open Session.
  13. Motion:  Consider a motion to take action, if required.
