  1. Rezone:  Consider a proposal by the Sikh Temple of Wisconsin to rezone the properties at 7502 and 7512 S. Howell Ave. from Rs-3 Single Family Residential to I-1 Institutional (1st District).
  2. Rezone:  Consider a proposal by Ted O’Leske (Early Childhood Education Center) to rezone the property at 10479 S. Chicago Rd. from B-2 Community Business to B-3 Office and Professional Business, with a conditional use permit for a day care center with an outdoor activity area (5th District).

  9. Motion: Consider a motion to approve the Vendor Summary Report in the amount of $332,432.79 (by Committee of the Whole).
  10. Council Proclamation:  Consider council proclamation No. 05-10, congratulations to Fire Fighter Peter J. Joncas (by Committee of the Whole).
  11. Council Proclamation:  Consider council proclamation No. 05-11, to Rudolph Sutschek for dedicated service to the City of Oak Creek as a member of the Board of Review (by Committee of the Whole).
  12. Motion:  Consider a motion to concur with the realignment of Board of Review members as follows, as a result of the resignation of Mr. Sutschek:
    1. Thomas Lewison would become a regular member to complete Mr. Sutschek’s term expiring 5/09;
    2. Dennis McNulty would become Alternate No. 1 to complete a term expiring 5/10; and
    3. One vacancy is created as Alternate No. 2, for a term expiring 5/10.
  13. Ordinance:  Consider ordinance No. 2357, relating to the establishment of the Street Department and the position of Street Superintendent (by Committee of the Whole).
  14. License Committee

  15. Motion: Consider a motion to take action on the various license requests as listed on the attached report (by Committee of the Whole).
  16. Parks, Recreation & Forestry

  17. Motion:  Consider a motion to concur with the recommendation of the Director of Parks, Recreation and Forestry and approve the bid of $90,000.00 from American Ramp Company for the purchase and installation of skate park equipment for the Oak Park/East Middle School site (3rd District).
  18. Health

  19. Motion:  Consider a motion to authorize the use of supervisory assistance for the Health Department on a temporary basis through Milwaukee/Waukesha County Consortium Mutual Aid Agreement, only in the event of a public health emergency, during an absence of both the Health Officer and PHN Supervisor (by Committee of the Whole).
  20. Police

  21. Motion:  Consider a motion to approve the hiring of the third additional police officer as allocated in the 2005 budget (by Committee of the Whole).

  23. Motion:  Consider a motion to authorize the Fire Department to apply for a SAFER Act Grant (by Committee of the Whole).

  25. Resolution:  Consider resolution No. 10520-060705, approving a certified survey map joining the properties at 7028 and 7050 S. 27th St. and 2414, 2436, 2508, 2528, and 2602 W. Rawson Ave. (John G. Gonis Real Estate Limited Partnership) (2nd District).
  26. Resolution:  Consider resolution No. 10521-060705, approving a certified survey map joining the properties at 7200 S. 1st St. and 7135, 7245 and 7261 S. Howell Ave. (McAdams Graphics, Inc.) (1st District).

  29. Engineering

  30. Resolution:  Consider resolution No. 10517-060705, approving a storm water management practices maintenance agreement with St. Mary & St. Antonious Coptic Orthodox Church of Milwaukee for their proposed church development at 1521 W. Drexel Ave. (2nd District).
  31. Resolution:  Consider resolution No. 10518-060705, approving a storm water management practices maintenance agreement with Micjensar Development, LLC, for their proposed Orchard View subdivision (5th District).
  32. Resolution:  Consider resolution No. 10519-060705, approving and accepting a public drainage easement from the City of Oak Creek across the rear of the properties at 2230 and 2300 W. Southland Dr. (6th District).
  33. Motion:  Consider a motion to create the project “Storm Sewer in St. John’s Estates Subdivision” and transfer $115,000 from non-specified storm water to fund its construction, and to further direct that funds recovered from the developer reimburse the non-specified storm water account (6th District).
  34. Motion:  Consider a motion to concur with the recommendation of the Traffic & Safety Commission and remove the stop signs at the intersection of S. Quincy Ave. and E. Monroe Ave. (1st District).
  35. Motion:  Consider a motion to concur with the recommendation of the Traffic & Safety Commission and approve the installation of “No Parking” signs 50 feet north and south of the Pick n’Save entrance along both sides of S. Mayhew Dr. (3rd District).
  36. Motion:  Consider a motion to concur with the recommendation of the Traffic & Safety Commission and deny the installation of stop signs on S. Windsor Dr. at the intersections of W. Buckingham Dr. and W. Dover Dr. (6th District).
  37. Miscellaneous

  38. Motion:  Consider a motion to convene into Executive Session immediately following the conclusion of the Common Council meeting pursuant to Wisconsin State Statutes, Section 19.85(1)(c)(e) to discuss the performance evaluation for the City Administrator.
  39. Motion:  Consider a motion to reconvene into Open Session.
  40. Motion:  Consider a motion to take action, if required.
