**OFFICIAL NOTICE**

City of Oak Creek

 

Please take notice that the Traffic and Safety Commission will meet in the Municipal Court Room at the Oak Creek Police Department, 301 W. Ryan Road, Oak Creek, Wisconsin on Wednesday, May 11, 2005 at 7 p.m.

 

The purpose of the meeting will be to discuss the following:

 

1)         Roll call

 

2)         Approve minutes from the April 13, 2005 meeting.

 

3)               Old Business

 

A.     A petition was delivered to the Engineering Department to have the stop signs removed on Quincy Avenue at Monroe Avenue.  There also is a petition to have the stop signs remain in place and be permanent.  The Engineering Department performed the 6-month traffic study at the intersection. 

 

4)               New Business

 

A.     Request for stop signs on S. Windsor Drive at the intersections of W. Buckingham Drive and W. Dover Drive.

 

B.     Request for stop signs on S. Lenox Avenue at the intersection of E. Montana Avenue.  This would create a four way stop intersection.

 

C.     Request for No Parking signs 50 feet North and South of the Pick N’ Save entrance along both sides of the street.

 

D.     Request to WisDOT to add no U-turn signs at the intersection of Centennial Drive and S. Howell Avenue.

 

5)         Adjournment
