**OFFICIAL NOTICE**

City of Oak Creek

 

Please take notice that the Traffic and Safety Commission will meet in the Municipal Court Room at the Oak Creek Police Department, 301 W. Ryan Road, Oak Creek, Wisconsin on Wednesday, April 13, 2005 at 7 p.m.

 

The purpose of the meeting will be to discuss the following:

 

1)         Roll call

 

2)         Approve minutes from the March 9, 2005 meeting.

 

3)               Old Business

 

A.     A petition was delivered to the Engineering Department to have the stop signs removed at Quincy Avenue and Monroe Avenue.  The Engineering Department performed the 6-month traffic study at the intersection.

 

B.     Request to WisDOT to lower the speed limit on Howell Avenue between Centennial Drive and Puetz Road

 

4)               New Business

 

A.     Request for street lighting at the intersection of 27th Street and St. Johns Way.

 

5)         Adjournment

NOTE:  It is possible that members of and possibly a quorum of members of other governmental bodies of the municipality may be in attendance at the above-stated meeting to gather information; no action will be taken by any governmental body at the above-stated meeting other than the governmental body specifically referred to above in this notice.
