Approval of Minutes:  10/27/05 and 11/1/05, as published

  1. Rezone:  Consider a proposal by Dick Platt to rezone the property at 4201 E. Fitzsimmons Rd. from A-1 Agricultural to Rm-1 Multifamily Residential, and the properties at 10250, 10190 and 10150 S. Chicago Rd., as well as 4103 E. Fitzsimmons Rd. and 4440 E. Oakwood Rd. from A-1 Agricultural to Rs-1 Single Family Residential (4th District).
  2. Rezone:  Consider a proposal by Alvin and Elaine Stramowski to rezone the property at 6508 S. Howell Ave. from B-2 Community Business to B-4 Highway Business, with a conditional use permit for a heating and air conditioning contractor’s shop with no outdoor storage (1st District).

  5. Ordinance:  Consider ordinance No. 2381, rezoning the property at 6508 S. Howell Ave. from B-2 Community Business to B-4 Highway Business, and authorize the issuance of a conditional use permit for a contractor’s shop with no outdoor storage (Stramowski) (1st District).
  6. Resolution:  Consider resolution No. 10557-101805, accepting the workmanship and authorizing final payment to Payne & Dolan, Inc., for Project No. 02001 (construction of an asphalt pathway in Riverton Meadows Park site) (held 10/18/05) (3rd District).

  8. Motion: Consider a motion to approve the Vendor Summary Report in the amount of $347,821.58 (by Committee of the Whole).
  9. Council Proclamation:  Consider council proclamation No. 05-20, congratulations to Matthew D. Machajewski for receiving the Eagle Scout Award (by Committee of the Whole).
  10. Council Proclamation:  Consider council proclamation No. 05-21, AMVETS and AMVETS Auxiliary “Love America Week”, 11/6-12/05 (confirmation only) (by Committee of the Whole).
  11. Resolution:  Consider resolution No. 10566-111505, rescinding Resolution No. 8037-072390, and restating the policy on the handling of delinquent personal property taxes (by Committee of the Whole).
  12. Motion:  Consider a motion to authorize the publication and write-off of the attached list of delinquent personal property tax, per City policy (by Committee of the Whole).
  13. Motion:  Consider a motion that the Council acknowledge the contributions of Black Bear Beverages, KEI, Inc., Quad/Graphics, Allstate Trucking, Schneider International, the Korean Church, the Racine Water and Wastewater Utility, the Franklin Water Utility, and the Oak Creek Water & Sewer Utility to the Hurricane Relief effort, and authorize a reimbursement from the City to the Oak Creek Water & Sewer Utility in the amount of $11,960.00 as the City’s contribution to the cost of supplying water to hurricane-stricken areas (by Committee of the Whole).
  14. License Committee

  15. Motion: Consider a motion to take action on the various license requests as listed on the attached report (by Committee of the Whole).
  16. Parks, Recreation & Forestry

  17. Motion:  Consider a motion to approve the bid proposal from Reese Recreation for the purchase and delivery of three steel hexagon shelters in the amount of $27,100.00 (Project Nos. 03025 and 05001) (3rd, 4th and 6th Districts).
  18. Streets

  19. Motion:  Consider a motion to award a contract to Angus-Young Associates for the reprogramming and preliminary planning for modifications to the street garage site and buildings, for an amount not to exceed $5,500.00, and to assign Wayne St. John as the project manager for the pre-planning, design and construction (by Committee of the Whole).
  20. Motion:  Consider a motion to approve the recommendation of the Street Superintendent to purchase a fork lift truck from the lowest qualified bidder, Wisconsin Lift Truck Corporation, in the amount of $20,998.00 (by Committee of the Whole).
  21. Community Development

  22. Resolution:  Consider resolution No. 10567-111505, accepting the dedication of the additional right-of-way for County Line Rd. (4th District).
  23. Resolution:  Consider resolution No. 10568-111505, approving a certified survey map for the property at 808 E. Fitzsimmons Rd. (Leonardelli) (5th District).
  24. Resolution:  Consider resolution No. 10569-111505, approving a certified survey map for the properties at 6868, 6840 and 6800 S. 27th St., 6851 S. 20th St. and 6840 S. 26th St. (Menards, Inc.) (2nd District).
  25. Resolution:  Consider resolution No. 10570-111505, designating the easterly 235 feet of 6851 S. 20th St., 8640 S. 26th St. and 6868 S. 27th St. as a nature center (Menards, Inc.) (2nd District).
