Public
Hearings (beginning at 7:00 p.m.) Citizen input, comments

- Conditional
Use Permit: Consider a proposal by the Black Diamond Group for
a conditional use permit to allow the storage of materials, vehicles
and equipment for the properties at 6925 and 6965 S. 6th St. (1st District).
- Conditional
Use Permit: Consider a proposal by Centerpoint Properties for
a conditional use permit to allow the storage of vehicles and equipment
for the property at 7366 S. 1st St. (1st District).
- Community
Development Block Grant (CDBG): Consider projects which could
be completed during 2005 with money from the U.S. Department of Housing
and Urban Development through the 2005 CDBG Program, and the reallocation
of unexpended funding from previous years (by Committee of the Whole).

- Ordinance: Consider ordinance
No. 2313, approving the issuance of a conditional use permit
for the outdoor storage of vehicles, equipment and supplies for the
properties at 6925 and 6965 S. 6th St. (Black Diamond Group)
(1st District).
- Ordinance: Consider ordinance
No. 2314, approving the issuance of a conditional use permit
for the storage of vehicles and equipment for the properties at 7366
S. 1st St. (Centerpoint Properties) (1st District).
- Motion: Consider
a motion to allocate the City’s 2005 CDBG funds to the
projects that are found to be eligible from those that have been and
will be proposed (by Committee of the Whole).

- Motion: Consider
a motion to waive all permit fees for construction
of the City of Oak Creek Veterans’ Memorial (by Committee of the Whole).
- Motion: Consider
a motion to waive the Plan Commission fee chargeable
to the Oak Creek-Franklin School District for rezoning of the Scanlan Elementary School site and waive the
building permit fees chargeable to the Oak Creek-Franklin School District
for the Scanlan School project (5th District).
- Motion: Consider
a motion to approve the Vendor Summary Report in the amount
of $512,984.83 (by Committee of the Whole).
License Committee
- Motion: Consider
a motion to take action on the various license requests as
listed on the attached report (by Committee of the Whole).
Library
- Motion: Consider
a motion to approve the request of the Library Board
and recommendation of the Personnel Committee to fill a vacant part-time
Library Aide position (by Committee of the Whole).
Health
- Motion: Consider
a motion to authorize the hiring of one replacement
part-time Public Health Nurse (PHN) for 700-800 hours per year (by Committee
of the Whole).
Parks, Recreation & Forestry
- Motion: Consider
a motion to authorize hiring a replacement for a permanent
part-time Park Laborer position (by Committee of the Whole).
Fire
- Motion: Consider
a motion to concur with the recommendation of the
Personnel Committee and approve hiring three (3) firefighters as provided
for in the 2004 budget (by Committee of the Whole).
- Ordinance: Consider ordinance No. 2312, relating to the Fire
Prevention Code (by Committee of the Whole).
Engineering
- Motion: Consider
a motion to concur with the recommendation of the
Traffic & Safety Commission and deny the installation of stop signs
on W. Jonathan Dr. at the intersection of S. Apple Creek Dr. (2nd District).
- Motion: Consider
a motion to concur with the recommendation of the
Traffic & Safety Commission and deny the installation of “Duck Crossing” signs
at Miller Park on E. Groveland Dr. (3rd District).
- Motion: Consider
a motion to concur with the recommendation of the
Traffic & Safety Commission and approve the installation of “Right
Turn Only” pavement markings on E. Drexel Ave. at S. Verdev Dr. (3rd District).
- Motion: Consider
a motion to concur with the recommendation of the
Traffic & Safety Commission and deny the installation of stop signs
on E. Connie Ln. at the intersection of S. Harrian Ln. (5th District).
Community Development
- Resolution: Consider resolution No. 10383-070604,
approving a certified survey map for the properties at 7921 and 7981 S.
20th St. (Gregg Schmidt)
(2nd District).
Miscellaneous
- Motion: Consider
a motion to convene into Executive Session immediately following
the conclusion of the Common Council meeting pursuant to Wisconsin State
Statutes, to discuss the following:
- Section
19.85(1)(e)(g) to consider a claim for unlawful taxes by Morris Material
Handling, LLC.
- Motion: Consider
a motion to reconvene into Open Session.
- Motion: Consider
a motion to take action, if required.
