**OFFICIAL NOTICE**
Please take notice that the Traffic and Safety Commission will meet in
the Lower Level Conference Room at City Hall, 8640 S. Howell Avenue, Oak Creek,
Wisconsin on Wednesday, November 12, 2003 at 7 p.m.
The
purpose of the meeting will be to discuss the following:
1) Roll
call
2) Approve
minutes from the October 8, 2003 meeting.
3)
Old Business
A. WisDOT will be conducting laser speed studies
along W. Ryan Road from S. Howell Avenue to S. 13th Street by the end of the year.
B. We Energies has supplied three quotes for
street lighting at the intersection of S. 27th Street and W. Honadel
Boulevard.
C. Traffic studies have been conducted on S.
Shepard Avenue and E. Randy Road and S. Shepard Avenue and E. Elm Road. The intersections will be looked at again next
spring.
D. The Traffic Count maps have been updated and
are available upon request.

New Business
A.
Request for a School Bus Stop at 1400 E. Meadowview Drive.
B.
Request for installing centerline markings along E. Elm Road
from S. Howell Avenue to S. Nicholson Road and along S. Shepard Avenue from E.
Oakwood Avenue to E. Randy Road.
C.
Request for temporary parking along S. 6th Street
for UPS from Mid November to approximately December 19, 2003.
D.
Request for “No Parking” signs on the gates at the end of E.
Fitzsimmons Road and E. Oakwood Road.
