**OFFICIAL NOTICE**

City of Oak Creek

Please take notice that the Traffic and Safety Commission will meet in the Lower Level Conference Room at City Hall, 8640 S. Howell Avenue, Oak Creek, Wisconsin on Wednesday, September 10, 2003 at 7 p.m.

The purpose of the meeting will be to discuss the following:

  1. Roll call
  2. Approve minutes from the April 9, 2003 meeting.
  3. Old Business
    1. WisDOT conducted a traffic study at S. Howell Avenue and Centennial Drive in July of this year.  They concluded that a signal is not warranted at this time.
  4. New Business
    1. Request for “No Parking” signs along on the Northeast side of Orchard Way from Breaburn Drive to Cortland Drive along the front of the Water Reservoir.
    2. Request for “No Parking” signs along the east side of Knights Way from Groveland Drive to a point 200 feet south along the front of the Water Reservoir.
    3. Request for “No Parking” signs on both sides of 5th Avenue from American Avenue to a point 1,500 feet south along the front of the water treatment plant.
    4. Request for “Deaf Child” sign at 710 E. Quail Run.

NOTE:  It is possible that members of and possibly a quorum of members of other governmental bodies of the municipality may be in attendance at the above-stated meeting to gather information; no action will be taken by any governmental body at the above-stated meeting other than the governmental body specifically referred to above in this notice.
