Call Meeting to Order

Roll Call

  1. Approval of 3/24/03 minutes.
  2. Respond to any questions on insurance and/or training. Attached is a summary of the training presented by Steve Wilding at last meeting.
  3. Comparison Information on insurance rates in localities with full-time paid firefighters vs full-time paid with volunteers vs volunteers only - Dick Bolender. All members: For insurance company comparisons, please contact your own homeowner's insurance for comparison rates and bring to the 4/7 meeting.
  4. Review response time reports - Steve Wilding. (Summary of response times for 5 years for the whole city by type of fire and class (paramedic calls vs fire calls.)
  5. All members: Read the union contract and bring your questions/comments.
  6. All members: Write down what information you need to know from other communities about volunteer firefighters and bring to the 4/7 meeting. The plan is to develop a combined list to use in contacting other communities.
  7. Select date for next meeting.

Public Notice
