Honorable Mention by the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District (MMSD) to

to take action on the various license requests as listed on the attached report
(by Committee of the Whole).
Utility
- Resolution: Consider resolution
No. 10224-033103, approving execution of a Cancellation Agreement and Release
from Liability with Wallace Enterprises, Inc. (by Committee of the Whole).
Fire
- Ordinance: Consider ordinance
No. 2242, creating Section 15.224 of the Municipal Code relating to elevator
cars (by Committee of the Whole).
Police
- Motion: Consider a motion
to approve the purchase of one Canon 5000 black and white copier from Gordon
Flesch Company, in the amount of $13,298.00; the purchase of one Lanier 5627
black and white copier/fax machine from Lanier Worldwide, Inc., in the amount
of $6,277.00; and the purchase of one Lanier 5627 black and white copier from
Lanier Worldwide, Inc., in the amount of $5,495.00 for the new police station
(by Committee of the Whole).
Engineering
- Motion: Consider a motion
to award the construction of the Shepard Hills Detention Basin project to
the lowest responsive, responsible bidder, C. W. Purpero, Inc., in the estimated
amount of $313,873.50 (Project No. 00037) (5th District).
- Resolution: Consider resolution
No. 10225-033103, designating 10101 S. Shepard Ave. and the southerly 300
feet of 10025 S. Shepard Ave. as a nature center (Tax Key Nos. 923-0289 and
923-9998-001) (5th District).
- Motion: Consider a motion
to authorize payment of the contract progress payments for Project Nos. 01006
and 01022, as listed on the attached summary report (3rd and 5th Districts).
- Motion: Consider a motion
to authorize payment to R. A. Smith & Associates in the amount of $4,042.03
for their work on the C1 Tributary drainage improvements project (Project
No. 00037) (5th District); and the S. 15th Ave. drainage improvements project
(Project No. 01023) (3rd and 4th Districts).
- Motion: Consider a motion
to authorize a payment of $3,930.25 to Land Acquisitions, Inc., for their
work on the real estate acquisitions for the Pennsylvania Ave. reconstruction
project (Project No. 99022) (3rd District).
Community Development
- Resolution: Consider resolution
No. 10227-033103, approving a supplemental development agreement between the
City and DEMCO Wisconsin II, LLC, for the development of lands within TIF
District No. 6 (6th District).
