8. Motion: Consider a motion to award the project to replace 14 insulated window units at the Public Library to Layton Glass & Mirror, Inc., in the amount of $7,651.84 (Project No. 03006) (3rd District).

 

Parks, Recreation and Forestry

 

9. Resolution: Consider resolution No. 10215-030403, accepting the workmanship and authorizing final payment to Dorshak Family Tree Service, Inc., for street tree pruning (Project No. 02002) (1st and 2nd Districts).

 

10. Motion: Consider a motion to concur with the recommendation of the Department of Parks, Recreation and Forestry and approve the bid of $15,920.00 from Miller and Associates for the purchase of five new transportable aluminum bleachers (by Committee of the Whole).

 

Streets

 

11. Motion: Consider a motion to approve the recommendation of the Street Superintendent to purchase one Chevrolet Silverado 4x4 pickup truck from Holz Motors in the amount of $15,254.00 (by Committee of the Whole).

 

Engineering

 

12. Motion: Consider a motion to authorize payment of the contract progress payments for Project Nos. 01102 and 01006, as listed on the attached summary report (3rd and 5th Districts).

 

13. Motion: Consider a motion to authorize a payment of $402.55 to Milwaukee County for their work on the 10th St. and Rawson Ave. traffic signal in conjunction with the 10th St. reconstruction project (Project No. 97037) (1st District).

 

14. Resolution: Consider resolution No. 10216-030403, accepting fee property, permanent and temporary easements for the Pennsylvania Ave. reconstruction project (Project No. 99022) (3rd District).

 

15. Motion: Consider a motion to award the project to install carpet at the Oak Creek Public Library to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder, Lippert Tile Company, Inc., in the amount of $44,400.00 (Project No. 02036) (3rd District).

 

16. Motion: Consider a motion to award the project to move the books and shelves at the Oak Creek Public Library to the sole provider, Coakley Bros. Co., in the amount of $11,850.00 (Project No. 02036) (3rd District).

 

17. Motion: Consider a motion to award the purchase of concrete pipe for the drainage improvements in S. 15th Ave. from E. Ryan Rd. to 2,000 feet north, to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder, Waukesha Concrete Products, Inc., in the estimated amount of $38,760.32 (Project No. 01023) (3rd and 4th Districts).

 

18. Motion: Consider a motion to reject the bid for the project to construct the entrance sign for the Oak Creek Commerce and Industrial Parc at the intersection of S. Howell Ave. and E. Mahn Ct. (TIF District No. 4) (Project No. 99049) (1st District).

 

19. Motion: Consider a motion to concur with the recommendation of the Traffic and Safety Commission and authorize the installation of stop signs in front of the Library (3rd District).

 

Community Development

 

20. Motion: Consider a motion to authorize the execution of a listing agreement between the City and Siegel-Gallagher, Inc., for the marketing and sale of the property at 7625 S. Howell Ave. (1st District).

 

21. Resolution: Consider resolution No. 10217-030403, approving the development agreement for the Clover Ridge subdivision at 8150 S. Wynona Dr. and 8071 S. Willow Dr. (2nd District).

 

22. Resolution: Consider resolution No. 10218-030403, approving the certified survey map for the property at 2031 W. Ryan Rd. (Speedway Travel Center) (6th District).

 

Miscellaneous

 

23. Motion: Consider a motion to convene into Executive Session immediately following the conclusion of the Common Council meeting, pursuant to Wisconsin State Statutes as follows:

a. Section 19.85(1)(e)(g) to discuss potential litigation and negotiations with WE Energies relating to the proposed power plant expansion;

24. Motion: Consider a motion to reconvene into Open Session.

 

25. Motion: Consider a motion to take action, if required.

 

26. Informational: Blue Ribbon Volunteer/Paid-On-Call Firefighters Study Committee update and proposed mission statement.
