1. Conditional Use Permit: Consider the request of Leik Enterprises, LLC, for a conditional use permit for a car wash at 150 W. Rawson Ave. (1st District).

 

2. Conditional Use Permit: Consider the request of Kevin and Darlene Polinski for a conditional use permit for a contractor’s shop at 6900 S. Howell Ave. (1st District).

 

3. Rezone: Consider the request of LePine Enterprises, Inc., to rezone the property at 9540-9578 S. Pennsylvania Ave. from A-1 Agricultural to M-1 Manufacturing (3rd District).

7. Motion: Consider a motion to not approve a rezoning from A-1 Agricultural to M-1 Manufacturing and a conditional use permit for a contractor’s shop with outdoor storage for the property at 9540 and 9578 S. Pennsylvania Ave. (LePine Enterprises, Inc.) (3rd District).

 

8. Ordinance: Consider ordinance No. 2090, as revised, approving the update to the City’s Comprehensive Plan (held 12/19/00; 3/18/02) (by Committee of the Whole).

 

9. Motion: Consider a motion to approve the purchase of a 2002 Ford Super Duty Crew Cab in the amount of $30,444.00 for the Fire Department from Ewald Automotive Group (held 2/5/02) (by Committee of the Whole).

 

10. Motion: Consider a motion to approve the purchase of a Cross Match I.D. 1000 10-Print Live Scan Fingerprint System for the Police Department for a total cost of $40,885.00 (held 2/5/02) (by Committee of the Whole).

 

11. Motion: Consider a motion to approve the purchase of one tandem axle dump truck with plow, wings and spreader from Truck Country in the amount of $89,890.00 for the Street Department (held 2/18/02) (by Committee of the Whole).

a. Award the contract for architectural services for the structural repairs to Fire Station No. 1 to Angus-Young Associates in an amount not to exceed $5,200.00; and

b. Authorize the department to proceed to publicly bid for the repair project (by Committee of the Whole).

16. Motion: Consider a motion to authorize final payment of the contract progress payments for Project No. 99009, Fire Station No. 3, as listed on the attached summary report (1st District).

 

Parks and Recreation

 

17. Motion: Consider a motion to award the 2002 street tree planting, Project No. 02002, to Schmeling’s Nursery in the amount of $39,415.00 (by Committee of the Whole).

 

Community Development

 

18. Resolution: Consider resolution No. 10101-040102, approving a certified survey map submitted by Michael and Merry Morrison for the property at 7840 S. Clement Ave., with the condition that it not be recorded until a grading plan is approved (1st District).

 

19. Resolution: Consider resolution No. 10102-040102, approving a certified survey map submitted by Robert Doro for the property at 9840 S. 27th St. (6th District).

 

20. Resolution: Consider resolution No. 10103-040102, approving the certified survey map submitted by Kaerek Builders and Marlin Larson for the properties at 9605 S. Burrell St. and 200 E. Larson Ln., with the condition that a grading plan be approved prior to recording the map (5th District).

 

Engineering

 

21. Motion: Consider a motion to authorize a payment of $6,775.00 to Land Acquisitions, Inc., for their work on the real estate acquisitions for the Pennsylvania Ave. reconstruction project (Project No. 99022) (3rd District).

 

22. Resolution: Consider resolution No. 10099-040102, accepting the recommendations of the CIP Committee to authorize the road improvement projects as listed on the attached council report (various districts).

 

23. Motion: Consider a motion to authorize a payment of $2,000.00 to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation for the Drexel Ave. reconstruction project (Project No. 89060) (1st and 3rd Districts).

 

24. Motion: Consider a motion to authorize payment of the contract progress payment as listed on the attached report (6th District).

 

25. Motion: Consider a motion to concur with the recommendation of the Traffic and Safety Commission to revise the City’s "heavy traffic routes" and adopt Ordinance No. 2176, designating "heavy traffic routes" (by Committee of the Whole).

 

26. Motion: Consider a motion to concur with the recommendation of the Traffic and Safety Commission and approve the posting of "Deer Crossing" signs on both sides of Puetz Rd. in the vicinity of 800 W. Puetz Rd. (2nd and 6th Districts).

Miscellaneous

 

27. Motion: Consider a motion to convene into Executive Session at the conclusion of the Common Council meeting pursuant to Wisconsin State Statutes, Section 19.85(1)(e) to discuss the paramedic contract between the City of Oak Creek and Milwaukee County.

 

28. Motion: Consider a motion to reconvene into Open Session.

 

29. Motion: Consider a motion to take action, if required.
