What are the business hours of the clerical department?

Clerical hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. The clerical department is closed to the public on Saturday and Sunday.

Their direct phone number is (414)766-7658.

What do I do if I need to file a police report?

This is handled by dispatch.

How do I obtain a copy of a police report?

If you are requesting a copy of an accident report, you need to appear during normal business hours and request the copy. The report is generally complete within five (5) business days from the time of the accident.

If you are requesting something other than an accident report, there is a form that must be filled out requesting the particular records. The clerical department will then research the request and contact the requesting party when the records are ready for pickup. If you would like to request the information by fax you can send a request indicating the date of the incident, the type of incident, a name of an involved party and the requestor’s name. We will then contact the requesting party by phone when the information is available for pick up. The fax number is (414)766-6688. All request s should be sent to the attention of open records.

There is a fee of $.25 per page for open records.
