Current Salary & Benefits

• Starting annual salary for Patrol Officer 2008 - $42,320
• Five-step pay rate increase (5yr patrol officer salary 2008 - $61,703)
• Hospitalization/Major Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance
• Paid Pension Plan through Wisconsin Retirement System
• Uniform Allowance ($500 for 2008)
• Gun Allowance (2% of base rate)
• 10 paid holidays
• Vacation:
• 1 week after one (1) complete year of service
• 2 weeks after two (2) complete years of service
• 3 weeks after ten (10) years of continuous service plus one (1) additional day for each full year of service in excess of ten (10) years.
• Represented by Oak Creek Professional Policeman’s Association (OCCPA) and overall by the Labor Association of Wisconsin (LAW)
