Firefighter Joncas Retires

Firefighter Joncas RetiresPete Joncas has retired from his positon as a Firefighter effective May 3, 2010 after 27 years of dedicated full time service to the City of Oak Creek Fire Department.

Pete started out his career as an auxiliary Fire Fighter April 19th 1983 and was hired full time on March 28, 1988. He was a licensed Emergency Medical Technician with the State of Wisconsin and has cared for thousands of citizens who were sick or injured. He always delivered caring and skilled emergency care for those in need. His duties were performed admirably, always looking out for the health, safety, and welfare of the citizens of Oak Creek.

As a mentor to many on this department, his positive and hard working attitude was contagious, which is why he was given the nickname "RAMROD". All of us at the Oak Creek Fire Department wish Pete the best as he starts another chapter in his life.
