Verifying Your Registration Status:

If you are a regular Oak Creek voter, you do not need to re-register to vote for each election.

If you have moved to Oak Creek from another municipality or state, you must re-register in the City of Oak Creek. Your previous registration in another municipality in the state of Wisconsin will be inactivated through the State of Wisconsin’s Statewide Voter Registration System (SVRS). If you are re-registering, there is a section on the form to list your previous address. If you were previously registered in another city/state, the City Clerk’s Office will send a postcard to your previous city of residence.

You may check your registration status by searching our citywide voter registration lists below. If you thought you were already registered, but your name does not show up on the registration list, you may have been inactivated due to non-voting. State law permits inactivating voters every four years, generally after a Presidential election, AFTER an attempt is made to contact the voter by mail to verify that the elector wishes to remain an active voter. This also helps us update our system for those voters who have left the City of Oak Creek.
